Happy Easter KC!

I hope y'all have had a wonderful relaxing weekend. We came out to our family river house and Harper is in her happy place!

Looks like y'all had fun this week too. Ryan counted 40 crayons, Asher lost a tooth, Nick worked super hard and Bennett is sharing his plants!

Here's what you will be up to this week at home, as always if you have any questions feel free to let me know :)

Spalding:This week we will continue to review phonograms and spelling words. Our words this week will be: you, will, we, an, my, up, last, not.

Sight Words:This week we will review lists 5-8. Thank you for practicing with your child during reading time at home, we have seen great progress!

Literature: Our story this week will be “Jack and the BeanStalk.” We will explore the original version and read another silly version. We will use a picture from the story to practice labeling and identify beginning sounds of the characters in the story.

Math:We will work on the order of events and what it means for something to come first.  We will place sequences in order.  We will also learn to arrangement items by size.

History: This week students will be learning about the continent of South America. We will learn more about the famous ruins; Machu Picchu.
