Good Evening,

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. For being stuck at home it went by very fast for our house. Thank you to the families who shared their remote learning pictures. Looks like the Chin and Lyons families are having a blast!

If you have not done so already, please login to our Google Classroom, using the directions sent from the school. This is where you will find all our remote work for the rest of the school.

Spalding: We will continue review our phonograms and spellings words. Spelling words are still review but in the coming weeks we will begin to add new words. Videos for Spalding are uploaded under each day of week.

Sight Words: This week we will review word lists 1-4. A good way to practice is to make flashcards to ensure your child is not just memorizing the list order.

Literature:This week we will explore a Japanese folktale about courage, Momotaro: Peach Boy. We also talk about the qualities of a hero then write about a hero of our own.

Math: This week students will be introduced to numbers up to 40. Students will observe place value and practicing writing and identifying numbers.

If you’re feeling up to it, students will make their own binoculars and go outside to explore and study the nature around us.
